We created this website on a simple premise: when it comes to image prompts, we think they should feel less like a set of instructions you have to follow to the letter, and more like a conversation you can have with a friend who gets what you’re after. Who We Are
GeminiImagePrompts.com is a one-man show, ran by me – Aarav Sharma. I’m a full-time photographer living in Bengaluru, India. I spend my days working with photography, lighting, portraits and the whole fashion scene – basically anything to do with making people look amazing in a photo. And when I’m not behind the camera, I’m studying how people react to images and what makes a good photo – how changing the lighting, or the way you frame a shot, or the colours you use can completely flip the mood of a photo.
The website is really just a byproduct of my own tinkering. I was messing around with images and AI tools to try and come up with some amazing photos. And I found that loads of other people were having the same problem – they could see a picture in their mind, but they had no idea how to put it into words in a way that an AI tool would understand. They’d see a movie-style portrait or a traditional festival look or a romantic couple photo, but struggle to figure out how to put that into a prompt that the AI would get.
So I figured, why not just write down those prompts and share them? I mean, they can’t stay a secret – and loads of other people could use them to get the shots they want. And that’s basically what this website is – the result of all that experimentation and learning.

How Aarav’s Journey in Photography Launched Him into AI
Aarav’s interest in photography sparked a journey that didnt involve technology to start – at least not at first. Through photography, he learned to slow down and take a closer look before snapping that shot. He got to appreciate how much a difference the way light was falling, where objects were placed in relation to their background, the angle at which he was looking at a face, the subtlety of an expression and the colours in a scene could all make a huge difference. And you know what – most of the time its not the fancy camera gear that makes a big difference, its the thought and attention to detail that does.
When he started working with AI image prompts all those photography lessons he had learned really started to come in handy. Just like with a camera, where you communicate your vision through the choice of lens, aperture, shutter speed, lighting and composition, in an AI image tool – its all about the words you choose. And surprisingly, the creative thinking involved is pretty similar in both cases. In the end its all about bringing that final image to life when you know exactly what you want to say with it.
Aarav learned the ins and outs of photography in Bengaluru and from there he just got more and more into it. He branched out into advanced photography, different types of lighting, portraits, fashion photography, photo editing and building a professional portfolio. All that experience has helped him to approach those AI prompts from a purely visual perspective rather than treating them as just random collections of buzzwords.
Writing a good prompt for Aarav, is all about making it clear what you’re trying to get across visually – not just throwing in loads of adjectives to make it sound fancy. A good prompt needs to answer some basic questions. Who or what is in the picture? What are they wearing or doing? Where is the scene? What kind of light is around? Our Experience & Expertise
Aarav’s got real-world experience as a pro photographer – he’s been at it full-time for a while now. And on top of that, he’s got formal training from CREO Valley College in Bengaluru. He did a Diploma in Photography and really dove deep into the technical side of things – lighting, portraits, fashion photography, photo editing and putting together a pro portfolio.
All that background experience shapes the way we write out prompt ideas on this site. It’s not just about coming up with something that sounds good, we actually think about the photographer’s perspective – is the lighting just right? Does the background really work with the subject? Is the pose something that would actually be believable? Does the color palette match the mood we’re going for? Are we protecting those natural looking facial features? And when we’re done will the idea actually work outside of just a written example?
AI image generation is not the same as taking a real camera, and taking a picture with a real camera is not the same as using AI to dream up an image, you know? A camera just captures what’s right in front of it in the real world, while AI is all about thinking up new scenes, exploring different styles and even transforming existing images. The trick is to know where each one of those tools is good at, and where they fall short – that way creators can make some smart choices.

The brains behind GeminiImagePromotes.com is Aarav Sharma, a talented photographer and creative from Bengaluru. He’s got the credentials to back it up – a Diploma in Photography from CREO Valley College is just the start, he’s also had hands-on training in all sorts of photography – from lighting to portraits and even fashion.
When he’s not snapping pics or teaching others how to do it, Aarav is busy researching cool visual ideas, brainstorming prompts, testing out different versions and tweaking them till they’re just right. Then there’s the writing – explanations of how to use the prompts, deciding what works and what doesn’t and just generally making sure everything is clear and easy to understand. He only shares his ideas if he thinks they’re good enough to be useful to others.
He’s particularly passionate about making sure that the prompts on this site help everyday people to create images that just look the way you want them to – natural, expressive and full of visual interest. As the site grows, we might add a proper shot of our founder and some more info on our other contributors too. We reckon it’s only fair that you know who you’re getting your photography advice from and why you should trust what they’re saying.
Our Content Creation Process – The Writing of Prompts
We follow a process that works pretty well for us, but we know that it’s not foolproof and that AI tools can change, so we try to avoid publishing prompts that sound trendy just because they might be in style at the moment.
1. Where It All Starts – A Clear Vision
Every prompt begins with a clear idea of what we want the image to look like. It could be anything from a dramatic night portrait to a traditional festival scene, a soft couple shot, a fashion editorial, a vintage street photo, or even a realistic transformation of a background. Before we start writing the prompt, we think carefully about what we want the image to make the viewer feel.
2. Building the Prompt
We take our idea and start breaking it down into useful details like the subject, pose, styling, setting, lighting, composition, point of view from the camera, mood, texture, and how realistic we want the end result to be. We avoid getting bogged down in unnecessary repetition and focus on providing clear instructions that will help the AI tool or image editing software understand what we’re after.
3. Testing and Tweaking the Prompt
Where possible, we test our prompts with the AI tools or image editing software to make sure they’re clear and will produce what we’re looking for. A prompt that produces one type of result today might behave differently after an update.

That’s why our prompts try to go beyond just using trendy keywords. We aim to connect the technical side of image creation with the emotional side – so instead of just describing something as “high resolution”, we might say that a portrait is “calm” or “intimate” too. A festival image isn’t just about the clothes and decorations, it’s also about the atmosphere, the sense of community, and the memories that are being made.
